“The future arrives unconstrained by death. Living water. Mouth at the stream of no fulfillment. The past for us is a future for you. Whatever the word is, it’s not fishing but something like a mirror. Another life waits to dip her feet in the pool of water. It is night falling. A series of paintings by Emily Wise and Kristen Diederich find their way through Agua Viva by a novel by Clarice Lispector. In Argentina they simply called her Clarice. This is what it is like to be a woman already dead. Night is falling and all that shines invites those willing to jump. We invite you to swim with us.”
