Brandon Vosika
Where did you first meet yourself? And what did the flowers smell like? In No More Mr. Nice Guy, Seattle-based painter Brandon Vosika holds open his studio door for anyone with a heart to explore his feelings and memories on canvas. Through a large collection of acrylic portraits, set amid ephemera from his studio, Vosika brings us into his world of remarkable moments and tells intimate stories that words fail. “I feel a special pull towards expressing things visually… I’m not very good with words but I think of these paintings as poems. They’re arrangements of feelings, and dreams I want to share with you” Vosika explains, “each portrait is a collection of sentiments from my heart.”
