Bonnie Smerdon

Bonnie Smerdon (b. 1992, Longview, WA) is a multidisciplinary artist living in Bellingham, WA. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and sculpture with a minor in dance from Western Washington University. Bonnie has participated in residencies at Rockland Woods, Sou’wester Arts Week, and The Old School, in Hrisey, Iceland. Exhibitions include those at Base Camp Studios, Geheim Gallery, Schack Art Center, and The Confluence Gallery. Bonnie’s artwork has been featured and written about in Suboart Magazine, Future Fields, and on the cover of The Crab Creek Review. Working in various capacities as a dancer and choreographer in tandem with her visual
art, Smerdon’s work in modern dance has been presented in pop-up art spaces, theaters and gallery settings.
